 My Journey

This is my journey in pursuing my interest in Music….
I love playing Guitar and drum……

Dec 1998 – I got my first Acoustic guitar funded by my mom(Rp.350,000)
Jan  1999 – I gave up learning guitar after few weeks trying
Feb 1999 – I decided to start learning guitar again
Mid 1999 – I bought my very first Electric guitar (Rp.550,000)
                   I learned guitar from my close friend and did draft recording(duet)
                   I took a private guitar lesson, but it wasn’t a very good one then I took basic drum lesson
                   I formed a band with some friends from different high school
                   We joined band competition, unfortunately only managed to pass through first round
End 1999 – My band was invited to play 2 songs for the Alumni/graduation party in Kapuas Palace Hotel 
                   in my home town, we played ‘it’s my life (Bon Jovi)’ and one other song by scorpion.
early 2000 – I took a private guitar lesson about 3 months
Mid 2000 – I moved to Kuching for my diploma course – continue my personal practice and learning through
books and magazine
End 2000 – I started playing in church (fmc kuching)
Feb 2001 – I played for Valentine’s day event in Holiday Inn Kuching organized by Hope Kuching (Indo grp)
Mid 2001 – I started playing in Hope church in Kuching (Indo Grp)
                  I played for Summer Concert Event organized by Hope Kuching (Indo grp)-about 300 ppl attended
       2002 - I bought my Acoustic-Electric guitar (Ibanez – purple)
Mid 2002 – I played for Concert organized by Hope Kuching – about 1000 ppl attended
                  I played with Hope Kuching Worship Team in Thai Camp – about 7000 ppl
                  I bought Ibanez Electric Guitar (RG270 -Red)
                  I Bought Multi-Effect board (ZOOM GFX-8)
End 2002 – I played for Malaysia National Convention in KL – about 1100 ppl
Feb 2003 – I played for Valentine’s day event in Holiday Inn Kuching organized by Hope Kuching (Indo grp)
Early 2003 – I did my first personal acoustic solo recordings
                 – I took a 5 sessions guitar lesson in Kuching, Malaysia
                 – I played for Easter Service organized by Hope Kuching – about 1000 ppl
Mid 2003 – I sold my Ibanez guitar (electric) and Multi effect
Sep 2003 – I did my second personal acoustic solo recordings
throughout 2000 – 2003 – has been regularly playing for church services, Various Meetings/Events and Caregroups in Kuching, Malaysia.

Mid 2004 – I bought Another Guitar (OLP – Metallic blue , import all the way from Melbourne to Perth)
                   I also bought Pre-amp Effect (V-AMP2 )
                   I Started playing in Sunday Service (Hope Perth Church)
                   I played for different Wedding Ceremonies from 2004 -2007 in Perth
                   I played guitar and led Worship in Church Camp for the first time in Perth.
End 2004 – I played guitar and led worship in 11th Anniversary of Hope Perth – about 150 ppl
July 2005 – I played guitar for worship conference in Perth.
       2005 – I bought Multi Effect Pedal (KORG AX1500)
                – I bought Line6 Guitar Amp (30 Watts Spyder 2)
End 2005 – I played guitar and co-lead worship in 12th Anniversary of Hope Perth – about 200 ppl
Apr 2006 – I played guitar for Oceania Convention in Brisbane – about 700 ppl
July 2006 – I Went to Hillsong Conference (Musician stream) in Sydney
Sep 2006 – I started to learn drum again(through books and videos)
End 2006 – I played drum in 13th Anniversary of Hope Perth – about 200 ppl
Mar 2007 – I took a private drum lesson (10 sessions)
Apr 2007 – I played drum for Oceania Convention in Melbourne – about 1000 ppl
                  I bought Zildjian Titanium Hi-Hat in Melbourne
July 2007 – I played drum in WA Church Camp

Oct 2007 – I started playing guitar for Caregroup in Hope Singapore
Nov 2007 – I bought Yamaha Acoustic-Electric Guitar (APX 700 Black)
                   I played in Event (13) organized by AG4 (Hope Church Singapore)
Dec 2007 – I bought Ibanez S470 Electric Guitar
Feb 2008 – I did my audition for Hope Singapore Worship Team
June 2008 – I played in Adult Camp(Shah Alam) with the Adult worship team
Aug 2008 – I started playing for Sunday Service in Hope Singapore
                    I played together with Yoppy, Hendra, Tian-tian, Charlotte and Kelly 
                    as finalist in the ‘UNVEIL’ event
